ARRIVAL NO LATER THAN: Friday, July 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.

1. Agricultural exhibits must be grown in Park County and be the product
of 2007 or 2008.
2. Each baled hay entry will include three (3)bales with an entry sheet.
Each cubed hay entry will include half (1/2)bushel of hay cubes along
with the entry sheet. A composite sample for a chemical analysis will
be taken by Extension Personnel.
3. All entries will be judged as individual exhibits. Only one (1)entry per
family in each lot may be made.
4. In lieu of any entry fee, all hay will become the property of the Park
County Fair Board to help cover the cost of the event.

Factors considered by the judges for baled hay include protein,
relative feed value, maturity, texture, lea finess, freedom from foreign
material, color, size and shape of bales, odor and freedom from mold.

1. Alfalfa Hay, Baled, 1st Cutting
2. Alfalfa Hay, Baled, 2nd Cutting
3. Alfalfa Hay, Baled 3rd Cutting
4. Grass Hay (Preferable that grass hay NOT contain Legumes, but up to 10%will be permissible)
5. Mixed Hay, Baled (considered to be 50-50 grass-legume, but will accept 40-60 or 60-40 mixtures)
